Maple Burl Bot #02 Acer macrophyllum, Spalted Bigleaf Maple
This is a Spalted Maple burl bot (Acer macrophyllum). The Spalted Maple was stabilized in with Cactus Juice in a vacuum chamber. The resin is Entropy Bio Casting Epoxy. The eyes are Redwood Burl harvested at my local beach with forget-me-not flowers. The inlays are spiral sea shells and the head is adorned with bit of Purple Heart. The plate on its chest is shaped piece of Yellow Box Burl.
