Xerochrysum Bracteatum Bot No23
Xerochrysum Bracteatum Bot No23 is quite special. The body of this bot is made from long forgotten redwood that had been lost at sea and then found… by me. The wood has live edge sea-worm holes which made a beautiful pattern making each piece unique and one of a kind. A very deep mineral rich brown and dark red. The flowers are Xerochrysum Bracteatum aka straw flowers picked on my dear friends farm. The head is made from oak which I treated with a process called ebonizing which turned the wood almost black. There are mother of pearl inlays on the left thigh. The accents are Bolivian Purple Heart with moasic pins made from brass, copper and steel. This bot comes with a driftwood base that is magnetic to hold the Bot in place.
