Botanical BurlBot, The Dreamer No02
This is Botanical BurlBot #01 Leucanthemum × superbum / Shasta Daisy, The Dreamer. It is made from Red Mallee Burl found in southeastern Australia. The head is Spalted Bigleaf Maple. One eye is made from live edge Redwood Burl found on my local beach with a sliced Casuarina Pod with turquoise wrapped in brass. The other eye is made from live edge Manzanita Burl with an inlaid mosaic pin. The other inlays are also turquoise wrapped in brass. In the lower left leg there is a bit Yarro for the Monarchs. There is also some purple heart adorning its head and feet. The intent of this Botanical BurlBot is to awaken slumbering imaginations and foster joy. Dream on dreamers— the world is your oyster.
