Redwood Mountain Bot with Straw Flowers
This Bot was crafted from highly mineralized and stained Red Wood burl that I had found on a near by beach complete with sea worm holes (I love those). The straw flowers (Xerochrysum bracteatum) were hand picked on my friends farm in Grass Valley. The mountains in its eyes are hand carved Claro Walnut with Mother of Pearl skies and inlay. There are also Bolivian Purple Heart accents.
