Maple Burl Ukulele
This is a Northwestern Big Leaf Maple Burl Ukulele with live edge sound hole. Scale length tenor. The sides and neck are made of Curly Claro Walnut (Which was originally cut to be gunstock). I love to take something that was destined for destruction and turn it into a vehicle for joy. The fret board is made from Gaboon Ebony with turquoise fret markers wrapped in brass. The tuners are Schertler Tuning Keys with a 18:1 gear ratio for extra fine tuning. The headstock has a lovely piece of round turquoise with flecks of what looks like gold to compliment the brass that encompasses the other turquoise inlays. What an amazingly satisfying build.

Big Leaf Maple Burl Tenor Ukulele for the joy of strumming. This instrument has very solid feel and I hope it will last many lifetimes. A full body sound complete with a side port to allow the tone to fill the players heart while strumming.
