The Jewelry Box
This Jewelry box was crafted from a Curly Claro Walnut frame with Angelstep Quilted Bigleaf Maple and this Redwood Lace Burl Veneer. This Redwood Burl has been vacuum bagged with Entropy Bio Laminating Epoxy. The drawer handles are Gaboon Ebony. The side doors contain hand turned Gaboon Ebony posts with inlaid Mother of Pearl for hanging necklaces. The top looks like a topographical map or treasure map complete with imaginary point breaks. There are compartments for every type of jewelry I could think of. Drawer number 3 has a secret compartment only accessible by a one of a kind rare earth magnet key. This box is held together with Brusso Brass Hinges. I didn’t realize my own potential until I created this box. You never know until you try!
